Ecosystem Restoration
Established and managed a botanical nursery in Pondicherry specialising in rare, endemic, and endangered plant species of the Eastern Ghats, particularly from the Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF) ecosystem. Collaborated with tribal communities to identify and collect rare native seeds, supporting conservation of indigenous plant diversity. Supported afforestation and ecological restoration initiatives by cultivating native saplings for rewilding, lake restoration, and biodiversity conservation. Promoted the use of native tree species for habitat restoration, wildlife conservation, and carbon sequestration, contributing to climate change mitigation.
